psst half price thermafleece

I have phoned and/or visited our three local(ish) B&Q's - Barrow, Lancaster and Carlisle - all incidentally closest to the source of Thermafleece, and they don't have it. Barrow hadn't even heard of it, but when I explained the woman thought it was "just a promotional thing".
Called in to Carlisle yesterday, and they DID have a small amount a few weeks ago, but it's all gone.
The B&Q Thermafleece (according to their website) seems to come in rolls and is made of fleece PLUS recycled plastic. It's also sold in smaller packs than either B&Q's other insulation or the "normal" Thermafleece batts, and so is not quite so cheap as it seems. However, I still wish I could have got some. It all seems a bit of a mystery though.

No, I think at least some branches of B&Q have had probably limited quantities of "Thermafleece" made from real sheep's wool plus some recycled plastic - the website describes it, if you look hard enough, and two of the branches I contacted at least knew about it. Some branches might even have had some of the same stuff as Second Nature's normal outlets sell for all I know, but I can't find any reference to it on their website.
Another interesting thing is that Ty Mawr Lime now sell "Thermafleece" under their own name, made from WELSH wool, and it's cheaper than the original stuff, which I think was originally Cumbrian sheep, and is now "British Hill Sheep".
I wonder, is this the beginning of a patriotic and devolution process (like the "Full English/Scottish/Welsh/Cornish etc Breakfast you get in B&B's) whereby we shall soon have many regional Thermafleeces?

I'm buying some from a specialist supplier in Lancaster, just to put over our bedroom where I've re-done the lath & lime ceiling, the bathroom and a new shower-room (because of the condensation absorption qualities) The rest of the loft will have to make do with the old glass-fibre stuff, plus some new white plastic wool from B&Q.

I saw thermafleece in my local B&Q months ago.
From my experience in the past, buy when you see something you want rather than expect it always to be there.
If it is anything like all the other promotions B&Q do the cheapest offers get sold out first.
Builders come in their droves when offers are on, first thing in the morning there is practically no ordinary member of the public there.

Just bought some proper thermafleece from our local B&Q.
They have a leaflet, with Knauf Earth Blanket, B&Q recycled plastic and the thermafleece, no sign of the Eco-Wool MdB links to.
Funny, the elaflet says intro offer £14.99 instead of £29.98, but it was marked up at £12.49. So £150 for 35sqm at 100mm, which according to second nature's prices compares to £335.00
I got 12 as that's all that'll fit in my car, along with the Sainsbury's shopping.
I'm going to put it down on the bedroom floor above the kitchen whilst the room is not in use and doesn't have a ceiling, try to keep at least the kitchen warm when I venture to turn on the Rayburn today, as Jo arrives back from work for a few days.
Then it'll go up into the loft when work resumes in a few weeks.
