Privacy film

Hello.

I would like to put privacy film on the lower half of a sash window. It is not a bathroom, it’s a living room that faces onto a busy road and pavement. I have asked my local council for advice but haven’t heard back.

You can easilly remove it again without damage so just go for it. I've used some colourful privacy film in my front windows in a conservation area as a temporary measure before the windows are restored.

Yeap, as Malcom says, easily reversible, non permanent, just go for it.

However, you may want to consider one of the opaque type not the mirror versions as mirror might attract attention. (They also loose their effectiveness at night with more light inside than out.)
