Pretty in pink?

That is a particularly harsh and glaring shade of pink. The estate agent's bumpf does show a much softer shade.

There was a similar furore over here a few years ago when Jeremy Irons painted his castle a pretty pink colour but it's relaxed into a nice gentle hue now. The photo of it from 12 years ago looks very similar. Could it be that the estate agent's photo wasn't taken with a very good camera??

First world problems, :roll: if that's the worst abuse of a listed building under that council then they should be really pleased. Paint fades and isn't permanent. I presume they haven't bothered themselves with what sort of paint it is, which is arguably more important.

They weren't so vigilant when uPVC was going in next door. And, don't start me on the pointing.... What a depressing street scene.

I recall a bungalow in Southgate in the 60s, the bricks were painted sky blue and the pointing picked out in pink. It looked rather tasteful, actually.

I wonder if the colour will have faded enough over the 3 years she's been given to repaint, that she'll be able to make a second application and have it accepted?
