PPUK Listings for Tradesmen not working ?

I was looking to see if there were any lime plasterers in our area and was pleased to see there were 47 adverts, but when I hit the search button only got three results. The same problem seems to exist with all of the other services too. Or am I missing something ? Any advice appreciated.

I would be careful about plasterers claiming to be able to do lime work, anybody can chuck lime plaster at a wall. I have a house close to me apparently done by a lime plasterer who decided not to add hair to the render and the house (timber framed) now looks like a jigsaw puzzle.

Easiest way to find lime specialists in your area is to ask your local planning department, they normally have lists of people whose work they have seen and approved, they dont recommmend specific companies but will at least give you experienced professionals in your area and their contact details
