Power shower.

We have a roll top bath with very fancy art deco bath/mixer taps. The shower has a very poor flow because its head is only three feet under the water tank. We don't want to change these taps ,so are wondering if there is any way to install a power motor to increase the flow. The bathroom is too small to install a seperate shower.

Assuming you have a conventional hot water storage cylinder, then a twin impeller shower pump, Techflow (Techflo?), Newteam, Watermill, Stuart Turner make them. Have a look on their website for details.

The pump turns on automatically. You need to fit a Surrey flange or something similar to the top of the hot water storage cylinder to stop air being drawn into the pump.
