Could anyone advise as to whether this houses a possible underfloor hidden cellar or coal store of some kind that has been covered up? The sitting room floor is solid with terracotta tiles, but there is angled blue brick. It is a 17th century cottage. It looks, to me, like it would have been a door or window, but it’s so close the disused well that I can’t imagine it being the best place for cellar is previous years. Any ideas from the picture with the angled brick?
