Polymerized linseed oil floor

Has anyone used a polymerized linseed oil paint or stain on their floors? I have lung issues, and do not want isocyanates or solvents. So, it doesn’t leave many options, other than completely natural or a water-based poly.
I’m afraid that I’ll be taking on too much maintenance with polymerized linseed alone. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Pure tung oil would possibly be better than linseed.

Both are easily 'touched up' so with the strategic placement of some rugs and mats (maybe a no shoes indoors policy too) the floor shouldn't be very high maintenance.

Use a water based PU, I use Loba Viva, Junckers strong or Bona Mega, all oxygen crosslinking, durable, made from maize starch and vegetable oils and all less than 2.5% VOC's, you will need to add at least 50% white spirits or turpentine to tung oil for the first coat, so that is out.

Boiled linseed oil is horrible stuff, that has white spirits and terebene in it!

Not sure why you are worried about isocyanates, they are only found unbound in hardeners and some solvent based PU's, unless you atomise unreacted hardener or industrial solvent based PU's by spraying it there isn't really an issue, if you use Gorilla type PU glue or expanding foam, that's full of isocyanates, I use neither.

Oil finishes are the worst for solvent retention, you could use shellac and wax and wear a respirator but water based are the lowest risk, they still have c. 2% solvents so if you are really sensitive wear an A2P3 organic fume respirator whilst coating and ventilate afterwards.
