I was driving along the old A6 up near Shap in Cumbria a few years ago in the dark and in very heavy rain, looking out for a phone box (pre-mobile phone days). Suddenly I spot one - I pull over, run to it through the torrential rain, sink up to my ankles in mud and then realise that it's just inside someone's front garden and it's full of plants

It's probably worth checking that the inside isn't bigger than the outside before buying one, or you could find yourself in some very strange times!

They're cast iron, weigh two toms and are a different design to the wooden Metropolitan Police Tardis type police boxes.
I suspect some speculators in Tardis futures will get their fingers burnt when they find out that the Dr Who enthusiasts aren't very interested in them.
