Pod in a barn

We went to an open gardens event yesterday and one of the places had a fabulous barn being used as an artist studio and exhibition space. A self contained modern "pod" had been built within, but not attached to, the structure of the old barn. All the gardens were fabulous too, I came away almost wishing we had a bigger one!

Do you know if the barn is listed? I wonder if this was substantially cheaper than actually converting the barn.

I don’t, before I posted the pictures I tried to look it up on the appropriate Local Authority website to see if there was an interesting Listed Building Application to share a link to. The website wasn’t as user friendly as the Bath and North East Somerset one which I’m used to ( where you can easily ‘map search’ past and present ones ) I‘ll interrogate His Lordship to see if he remembers the name of the village and if I find that I’ll update here.
