Hello people. I have started plastering my kitchen. I am doing lime plastering on the external walls and have found that I can get around 8m^2 of backing render done per day. This seems very slow to me. I am having to put up screeds in order to get the walls even close to straight and plumb. One wall needed the plaster to be an inch at the bottom, grinding out to about 8 mm at the top!!! However it is such hard work and so slow that I am considering boarding the internal walls as I don't expect to get condensation on these so the plasterboard dabs won't matter so much. I may just do lime again as I'm a perfectionist nutter but what do people think about the boarding???
