or plastering and ceilings.....
What order should I do this?
I have the kitchen and the bedroom to plaster.
Equal sizes.
All walls are straight up and down (well as straight as they get )
One directly above the other.
New floor to go down in bedroom, which is the ceiling in the kitchen.
Should I plaster the walls while the floorboards are up, maybe difficult as will need to loose lay the old boards, therefore giving easy access though to all the walls.
Or, should I plaster after putting down the new floor?
If I do, I'd have to guess the depth of plaster and cut the boards to not fit against the bare brick wall, then plaster to the boards, or, cut the boards to fit to the wall and the plaster will encose the boards, that doesn't sound good to me, as removing the boards will be impossible without damaging the plasterwork.
What sort of depth would the plaster be?
