This is a photo of our concrete covered cottage taken at the time when we came to view it. The only reason I have put it on here is because my friend came up to show me how to do it.

Congrats on mastering the photo unploading! does this mean your friend is recovered now? hope so. I can understand why you wanted the bathroom suite done away with. We had the avocado version and that is also long gone. I am however completely sure that in a hundred years or so there will be people contributing to the 22nd Century version of PPUK bemoaning our vandalism. Good wishes for the rest of your project too.

My MIL still has the 1950's pink suite that was originally installed in her 1950's house.

Now, that will be period; question is - when? :mrgreen:

(In fact, DH now says this suite is identical, and wants to know if it's worth anything! I think he might be missing the point...)

Any offers for mine gratefully received. I'm sure there is an esoteric psycho-social commentary on the colour scheme to be had, but as far as I'm concerned its in the bin next year as the next job on the list after I replace the hall floor.

Oh, I dunno. Replacing those tiles and the paint, and putting down the right flooring could create a rather stunning bathroom.

Sorry for not getting back to you before now but the router appears to be on its last legs, typical isn't it, I learn how to upload the photo's and then something else happens.
Anyhow, I can see that you are all jealous of the bathroom suite that was and Penners was particularly attracted to the tiles, well I'm sorry to have to break the bad news to you but that was white tile paint and the fish were stencilled on the top. DIY programmes have a lot to answer for.
Tom - Are you sure you can live with that bathroom until next year ? Do you really need a hall floor ?

Oh I think I can manage it for a while, I've lived with it for four years 8)
As for the hall floor, I've got friends staying at the end of the month and I would rather like something for them to walk on :wink:

Four years deserves a medal. Its a shame that I threw out the bathroom carpet, it was a lovely shade of peach, you could have used it as a hall floor to impress your visitors :lol: :lol: :lol:.
