a) Good God - $17 to sharpen a pencil!

b) Nigel - you have waaaay too much time on your hands to have come across this!

Given that it's easy to spend upwards of 10,000 of our British pounds on a fountain pen then $17 to sharpen a pencil seems quite reasonable.

They want about 18,000 for this

I would be happy with this one that's less than half the price :lol:

When an apprentice at a large engineering firm in the 60s during a "work to rule" the draughtsmen decided that pencil shapening was "carpentry"so blunt pencils were taken to the chippy`s shop and on returning to the drawing board "broke" again!
