My neighbour, Farmer Joe, called me over last week to show me a map he'd been given some time before, on an old postcard. It is pre 1906, but that's about all we can say, as the larger farmhouse on the hill, is not shown as being built.
Our house was named in 2002 after the old fields that surround it
The blue fields are those which belonged to the farm.
