Period Insulation

I have just bought myself a strange looking garment called a "onesie" made of something very fleecy. Maybe I'm the last person in the UK to discover how wonderful they are for personal insulation, but if anyone out there needs something practical to keep warm in then highly recommended. With some thermals underneath I was so toasty. I may well go back to Primark and get another one :lol:

:lol: They had a wide variety of different "animals" and I did think I should really get the elephant one, but went with the pink with puppy dogs on. I didn't want integrated foot coverings, and the animal ones mostly had them.

I don't think that will do, you need two pieces of thermals underneath a slightly loose fitting onesie in order to stay warmish when faced with the inevitable bathroom necessities. Although I suppose the situation for gentlemen is slightly different :lol:

Not sure "sweet" is the right word, not at all, rather close to muppetty TBH. His Lordship is thousands of miles away, and I hadn't considered the aesthetics so much.

I was in one of our stores early one morning last week - a local convenience store, in a not-too-affluent part of Hull.

In wanders an "amply proportioned" young lady, ample in all areas, with badly dyed hair that was in a mess, dressed in a leopard print onesie. "You not even dressed yet?" enquires another customer who clearly knew her. "Nah, I've only come out for fags" she replies.

Anyhow, I am sure onesies are extremely warm & cosy and are fantastic in the privacy of one's own home. However, the thought of myself wearing one repulses me, let alone anyone else! I'm not sure they come that big anyway

You know, I was about to agree with you...the thought of being seen out in a onesie! Then I realised that I frequently am! I've even worn it to Tesco!

I'd never thought of my overalls as a "man onesie" before. Mine are even more stylish - both knees are patched (with different colour cloth) and they have random oil stains on them. The height of "garage chic" I think you'll find.
