Hello,
I need some help. It's very sad but my husband and I are separating at least for a time. Until we sell our cottage which could take a while I need somewhere to live. I can't afford a commercial, going rent. But I know that sometimes people manage to find places on peppercorn rents on the basis that someone just wants someone living in the property so I'm wondering if anyone has any bright ideas about where I could find such a place in the South Somerset/North Dorset area. I have an image of a tumbled down cottage on a farm estate but I think I may just be fantasising. Thank you for your help. Vicky

Very sorry to hear that The other thing that is sometimes wanted is pet sitting, and if you have experience then temporary B and B management. Both these tend to be short term though. There are some jobs that will offer job related accommodation too. Our building in London will be looking for a resident porter in the new year for example.
