From my extensive experience of the female of the species, Feltwell, I can tell you that daffodils appear to be vastly preferable to carnations. The latter seem to be anathema to women.

I dunno why - it's all flahrs to me. :?

Carnations!! Petrol station flowers!! Good gracious me. I only really like hand-tied bouquets of apricot and peach roses by David Austin, thank you.

How lovely to come on and see these kind wishes though, and even a request for another party - which I'd love! I'm so sorry I've neglected PPUKe; the only reason for it is that Slimming World have been sucking my time, energy, soul, and favourite foods quite away. And a stone and a half of ugly fat. The switch from my usual diet of Kit-Kats, pecan Danish, peanut butter on toast and bottles of wine, with plenty of time to natter on here, to having to shop, chop, dice, slice, wash up and start all over has been shocking in the extreme, but it does work, and I am simply vanishing. Poor BC though, sadly neglected, like PPUKe.

I am going to break out and have some wine tonight and I'm really looking forward to that! And now I think I've learned how to live healthily I will make more time for this amazing forum. xxx
