Period frying pans?

I need a new frying pan , I need an Aga frying pan. And I need one today! :shock:
Does anybody know where in Suffolk I can buy an Aga frying pan? I know there is an Aga shop in Norwich but I was hoping for one closer to home.

I didnt get my frying pan.
Diss ironworks only had a shop soiled black one ,I thought about it but I dont want a black one.
I read the blurb and Aga only make 25 cm pans, I cant cook a breakfast on a 25 cm pan, I could barely fit an omelet on that.
I had a look at Le Crude(ly) priced pans and they are bigger, and more expensive but the extra cost is well worth the extra rashers and black pudding space so I think I might go down that road instead, and you can buy them in normal shops as well.

They are hideously expensive, but we got Le Creuset pans as a wedding present, and if I were ever buying more I woildnt hesitate to splash out the money myself. Built like tanks, easy to clean and you can put them in the oven with the lid on.
(Although if you do don't do what I did last night and take a one out put it on the hob and then two minutes later pick it up with bare hands. I now have a nice stripe of blisters running across my palms as fingers)

John Ruskin had some sensible things to say about buying stuff:

It's unwise to pay too much but it's unwise to pay too little. When you pay too much you lose a little money, that is all.
When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can't be done.
If you deal with the lowest bidder, it's well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better!

Can't argue against that Flyfisher. There was was a movement afoot many tears ago when I was still 'doing it' to get 'second tenders' to be accepted by clients rather than someone 'buying' the job with a low tender hoping to recoup losses by hammering the extras.

How infuriating, helpers are notorious for that sort of thing. I have heard tales of antique silver "cleaned up nicely" with a steel pad, and those pesky grubby fringes on an oriental rug trimmed off all tidy and neat. Not mine I hasten to add. We briefly had household help, sort of inherited her from the previous incumbent of His Lordships job, but I largely restricted her duties to cooking, laundry and ordinary cleaning. She wasn't good at tending antique elephants.

No new kitchen or cooker, the cottage has come to a standstill while we decide what to do with it, I was made redundant (a long story) a while back and work ever since has been sporadic, for some reason people around here think people are happy to work for free, really.
Anyhow, our old prying pan came from a supermarket and was a cheap rubbishy one so rather than get bitten twice I decided to push the boat out and buy something that will last, it also needed to be big enough to cook a full breakfast in one shot. I did fancy a copper pan but the good ones are way too expensive, even on the bay.
Now Mrs Robgil wants a Le Cruidity casserole dish. :shock:

Oh dear Joce I know how annoying that is :x a friend came to stay and decided to cut the fat off the bacon with a bread knife inside my Le C frying pan !!!!!!!! I contacted Le C to see if they could recoat my pan with the non stick coating but it is not possible
