We're not supposed to offer living things but people sometimes do. To be fair the bowels of our old cats were by far and away the least pleasant thing about them but I guess they were considered important to the cats.
No one seems to want my old land & stair carpet and underlay - a pity but I guess it's going to the tip - sorry "recycling centre".

Did Mr P have any luck with his Aston Martin? it's been a while since he put in the request and there must surely be an Oligarch in Chelsea doing a little spring cleaning. I think we should be told, or maybe he's just going to roll up to the PPUK party in it, although if it's one of the racing versions it's going to be dreadfully hard on his poor back. As usual he will probably suffer in silence.

I spotted a great typo today whilst hunting through job sites.
The advert should have read "A highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager is required to a lead a team comprising of Shift Managers, Team Leaders and c100 colleagues."
Except they didn't put an f in "Shift".

Perhaps it wasn't a typo....
I'm always stunned by the half arsed way that many job ads are sling into the job search sites - especially by agencies.
In addition to illiterate spelling and incomplete job descriptions they often make basic errors in the search fields - I once saw a job paying £40K per hour which would have been very, very tempting
I have a couple of job alerts set up that email me anything in my fields in the local area but for some reason British Gas agents and a few others like to tick all the regional boxes & sectors for their jobs so I'm offered jobs based in Wales and Cornwall for gas fitters :?
Experience has taught me to take copies of my proper CV to interviews. I once sat down for an interview with the agency job description in my hand, the interviewer asked to see it and told me it bore no relationship to the one he'd sent across. Then he showed me the 'agency' version of my CV (with my contact details removed, along with the entire second page, most of my current experience, qualifications and my name spelt wrong. We both agreed that the agent was useless which gave a common foundation for the rest of the interview.
Then you get patronising advice from the same agents about ensuring your CV and covering letter don't contain typos and spelling errors :roll:
I've only ever been lead by shi(f)t managers but I dare say I could corral a bunch of them given the right kind of cattle prod.
