:lol: :lol: :lol: that's very kind of you to think of me, but we have one already! It was a newly made one which we purchased in Chiang Mai in Thailand years ago, and shipped it over to Tokyo...... about 6 months before we moved to Bangkok. Of course then we realized then that we had paid a tourist price, and a tourist price for shipping, but hey ho never mind, hindsight is 20/ 20 and anyway we have had it long enough now that it is "vintage" and we still like it. Will have to see if I have a picture.

But do you use it Lady A? Please tell us you exercise your London elephants daily, by riding them around Hyde Park...

The chair is only for special occasions when I'm getting someone else to drive, most of the time it's easier to sit at the front and use the flappy ear steering mechanism.

I don't have a good picture of the whole chair but this is a bit of one side next to the table full of Ganesh, very similar design to the e.bay one. They always have characteristic legs that curve outwards from the seat, so that the elephant fits in underneath. The nice condition ones have often not been anywhere near an actual elephant, and are/were made more as just a piece of furniture.
