Can anybody recommend a cheapish courier? I need to send a parcel to Malaysia and the cheapest quotes I am getting is 65 quid, it weighs 2.6 Kg, if it were 2Kg it would only cost 34 quid, any ideas? I could lie about the weight but at the risk of having the parcel sent back to me , or making the aeroplane crash into a mountain or something.

they weight them going in and would either reject it, or send you a big bill for it.
Have you tried www.interparcel.com they use several couriers and you get better prices.
A quick look shows prices of £43 for 3kg.

£57.40 I got , the parcel is 23 x 38 x 33. I took it to the post office and they quoted me 65 quid so 57 isnt bad. A lot of money to send a little parcel though.
The post office had a super dooper economy rate but it would take 6 weeks to get there, I could walk there quicker.

Yes, almost 2ft by 3ft by 3ft, huge, of course a lady shouldn't really comment on the size of a gentlemans package.

Sometimes they cant help them selves. I often experience this when I talk about the size of my parcel.

If you really p*$$*d off about the cost , get you own back, send a few kilograms of loosely packed sponge, that will teach them
