Just thought I'd give you guys first dibs on a combi I have surplus to requirements, it's new and never fitted, it's a Potterton Performa 30HE with flue kit and an LPG kit (not fitted) , I'm never going to use it so if anyone needs one drop me a line, it's 30Kw so ample for most homes. Based in Suffolk.

I might do that fella, it's been sat in my garage for the best part of 4 years now and I've come to the conclusion that I'll never use it but I thought I'd ask on here first just in case some one might need one.
Edit - Well thers that and the fact that I blew the engine up in my Landy by driving it into a pond and need to free up some funds to buy another one. :lol:

It was between me and a pub come to think of it Penners, unfortunatly I didnt get as far as the pub.
No , I thought it would be a good idea to stop off at a local pay and play site first. Probably not my best idea ever.
It took two vehicles to pull me out.
I managed to bend a con rod and take a small chunk out of the cylinder skirt in the block.
I have been a rare bird , we had to throw in the towel with the cottage, too many family politics involved , some of which were absolute corkers. :lol:
We are renting again, a nice little 3 bed late Victorian stable keepers cottage on a nice quiet lane, still , it's nice to not be living in a building site anymore.

Sorry to hear that, Rob. I hope it wasn't too much of a disappointment to you, although I guess that perhaps a small part of you is relieved. It was a hell of a project that you took on.robgil said:

Doing up period properties and having a young family can be a real strain. Ours isn't a wreck or anything, but still lots to do.
We're just finishing the bedroom for 2nd born. Probably the room that was in the worst condition, and Mrs Wobs has been extremely patient, but its not easy when you have to spend long hours on a project.
