So - thanks to a snapped sash cord I have now stripped most of our bathroom window (curiosity got the better of me!), and need to repaint the inside.
Just after recommendations for an interior gloss paint, type and/or brand. I've used sikkens rubol az plus on the outside, and it gives a lovely finish, although they don't recommend using it for interiors. I could go down the sikkens route again, but am open to slightly more easily obtained alternatives too. I'm not sure about linseed oil - is it appropriate for a bathroom window (i.e. one which is adjacent to a bath and shower and consequently does get wet)
fwiw the previous paint seems to be a layer or two of a modern paint over some beautiful (?!) green lead paint, all sitting on red lead undercoat.
(I did try searching the forum by the way, but it excluded the term "paint"...)
