I don't suppose there is any chance I could borrow your assistant for tomorrow? I have my Textile Enthusiasts Group meeting at our place and I'm sure they would be interested in this example of non-textile use. I can confirm that there will be coffee, tea and biscuits available.

I shared the picture with some of my friends in "another place" and literally none of them commented on those aspects of the picture, so no, I am not surprised at all. In fact my Textile Enthusiast Group ladies were rather disappointed that I decided to go ahead with the meeting where we were talking about Japanese kimono fabrics, when they were hoping for one entitled "20th Century Ironing Traditions in a Non Textile Environment" I had to give them lots of tea and biscuits to placate them.
