I know - grim - strange that I was in Penrith yesterday. then went over to the Lakes and bought in the Oxfam shop a book by Hunter Davies about walking along old trackbeds ... I think this one features!

I hope that they now seek a call-in or Judicial Review of the decision.

Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend how councillors' minds work (if at all). The decision is so short-sighted and stupid that one is tempted to think that some financial persuasion might be involved: surely not :evil:
