Penetrating Damp - Sandstone wall ties

I would love some suggestions on how to find someone to help me fix the significant penetrating damp that appears internally at the end of each wall tie on a weather facing wall. The 1800's cavity wall has a sandstone block exterior with occasional sandstone block set at 90 degrees, which ties the exterior sandstone to an interior low quality soft brick wall.

I have moisture being drawn in through the sandstone tie blocks more rapidly than it evaporates internally. The result is a lot of visible condensation.

As you probably know all stone, just likes bricks, are to some extent porous/permeable and water will ultimately find its way its way through them. Unfortunately it was fairly common for both bricks and stones to be used as 'ties' between wall skins thus creating a bridge by which water can migrate to an interior wall. Sadly, the best remedy I'm aware of is to replace the stone tie with a stainless or galvanised steel equivalent. To do this though its best, to limit any damage to the exterior wall, to attack the problem by removing the bridging stones, laying a new steel tie between the ext/int walls and cutting the removed stone to the new required depth. Ordinary bricks can be used to fill the cavity in the interior wall while leaving a space between the new skins. Depending on how many bridging stones were used in the original construction this may be no small task but there is some room to prioritise the work.

Other contributors may be able to offer better or more efficient/economical solutions - I do hope they can.

Another way of looking at it it is if there is water passing through the wall ties it means the outer wall is soaking wet. It has more water getting in than it can evaporate away to the outside.

Excess water getting in might be due to leaky gutters, high external ground levels, or cracks and holes. Water not evaporating is generally down to cement pointing, cement render, waterproof paints.

Worth posting a few photos inside and outside to see if anyone can spot anything.
