Oh no! I'm really upset by that. I took Mrs P to the Pandora some years ago as a kind of trip down memory lane.

It was in the Pandora that my grandfather (who lived in St. Mawes) first bought me a drink in a pub! He, my father and I had just won the handicap class in the Restronguet Regatta. I reckon I was about 15.

I thought you might be upset - sorry to be the bringer of bad news. I got engaged just around the corner so it is important place for me too.

That's terrible news, it was a beautiful place.
Is the damage bad? I'm on a dreadful internet connection at the moment, and I can't see pictures or videos.

Roof is completely gone. Upstairs is gone. It isn't clear if some of downstairs has survived or not. Not pretty.

Oh no. I've only just seen this. We'd been wanting to go for ages, and made it there for Saturday night supper on March 12. It was blissful, lovely food, peaceful by the water, cosy by the fire - ah the fire.
So sad.

As Flyfisher mention the Cutty Sark has now been completed, I thought I would let you know that the Pandora Inn reopened last month.
(not that I've been back there yet)
