Paint supplier

I ordered a tin of Fired Earth Paint which arrived today--I was surprised to read on the address label 'Sender: Craig and Rose, Dunfermline.'

I knew that Craig and Rose had re branded their product and recently noticed that Fired Earth had also changed their labelling--so, which product is which or have they merged?

One of the reasons that I favour Rose of Jericho and Francesca's Chalky emulsions is that I know their products have a unique mix giving me the result I want. Colour choices are endless, no matter what brand one chooses, it's the content and performance I like to be sure of.

I think you'll have trouble getting paint sent through the post. I imagine it would require some specialised logistic system. Are you sure that the paint manufacturer's products are not already distributed in your country of choice?

Sue at DesignWorks Grantham posts to mainland Europe. Folks in Lincs do what they can to make a living. She will be fair with postage but it won't be cheap.

And Joss, I do know what you mean about the natural pigments. Like comparing clotted cream with the chemical stuff.

At the risk of sounding pedantic (who - me??) wouldn't you say that ordinary cream is more natural than clotted (not sure what "chemical" cream is)? The latter is, after all, mucked-about-with by being scalded.

Delicious, though! My Cornish granny used to make wonderful clotted cream!

I think chemical cream is that muck that has been adulterated with other non-cream things, like vegetable oils or benecol . I believe the call it Elmlea or WashandGo or something.
