Packing away the electric heaters

Isn't it wondeful? Our hallway has no central heating so the plug in radiator has been churning out lovely heat for 6 months, but yesterday it was sent off for its summer rest to the Spider Cupboard.

You have been out of the country too long! :lol: Grey and raining is very Spring-like, and lovely. I'm just thrilled not to be wearing thermals, three jumpers and huddled by the fire, in fact today sees me in pyjamas without a dressing gown. Amazing.

I wouldn't mind if it was just grey and rainy, but it's cold too. Has even driven the Polish builders away to some sheltered retreat! Still it's a good excuse for not going out and scrubbing the balcony again. Being on top of the hill means we are always a bit colder than the centre of town, maybe time to head back to Selfridges and John Lewis to double check the theory :lol:

I see Lincolnshire folks have been keeping secrets from the rest of the UK about it's true nature as a mini Shangi-La. I bet all those pix you posted of snow covered fields were just a Photoshop job and you were really basking in nice mild temps, snickering at everyone else and offering completely untrue stories of hardship. :lol:
