Oversized overflow kit to fit 1920's art deco bath

Hi,

I am finding it very hard to find an overflow kit that will fit my bath. Both the overflow and the drain holes are 2.5''. A buttler sink drain fits the waste hole, but i can't find an overflow big enough - i have tried bathhouse-restoration but all their overflow kits are standard sizes.

The only place i have found with oversized overflow kits is a site in the US, but they are a fixed overflow for a tub bath - mine is a corner bath.

Ideally i could do with a complete kit.

CAN ANYBODY PLEASE HELP?

contact this company - see link below. They don't appear to have any Art Decor fittings in stock, but as a salvage company they will normally no of someone who can help or a way to modify/use existing fittings to reslove the problem.

Have you searched around your local achitectural reclamation yards? They invariably have a big box of all kinds of plumbing fittings, and a good root around might turn up what you're looking for.

They're usually listed under Reclamation or Architectural Raclamation in Yellow Pages.

Good luck with your hunt around the reclamation yards. Just in case you haven't been to one before, I should warn you that (if you're anything like me) you'll see 101 cranky old architectural bits and pieces that you'll find yourself wanting to buy. Padlock your wallet!

Yes i've been to one before.

In fact the reason i have got this bath is because i went to a reclamation yard to get a flag to use as a plinth for my stove - and i came away with a 1920's art deco bathroom suite and a huge I.O.U. - and ever since i've been strugling to find all the bits i need to make it all work... - although i have just got the bath back from the enamelers and i can tell you it was worth every second of the time and effort i have put into it.
