Our Georgian Town

So, now we see out 2012 in our Georgian Market Town having agreed to increase the population by a further 400-500 houses, a lapdancing club right on the Market Square, a tattoo parlour, Centre Parcs, all rounded off by Covanta just down the road--- whatever next? Campaigners are asking why they spent so much time being consulted, signing petitions etc when it was all going to happen anyway. Moan over--

So long as politicians - and, to be fair most other people - continue to pretnd that housing is a supply-side issue, the country will continue to be cluttered with more and more housing. History, heritage, aesthetics, countryside, wildlife, not important.

I expect the Georgians did have something like a lap dancing club, they certainly had plenty of gin slinging going on didn't they?!! Penners, it is right on the the Market Square cannot miss it!!!!!! Oh well, like everything else, I suppose the hiatus willl die down and everybody will find other things to moan about-- it's hard to imagine what else Central Beds can bring into what was once described as a 'gem' in the middle of Bedfordshire!!
