original wallpaper in Edwardian house

We are currently refurbishing an Edwardian house in Muswell Hill North London.

The property was built in 1903 and is arranged over 3 floors. Stripping wallpaper in the top bedroom, we think have uncovered the original paper. It is in relatively good condition. Simple floral pattern, almost looks painted. No lining paper, stuck directly to the plaster.

Question - would the house have been sold with this paper or would the first owners have decorated themselves ?

Does anyone know where I can find info on these wallpapers ?

The Ranger's House museum in Greenwich Park, South London, used to have a fantastic collection of interior decoration and fittings, but that seems to have been dispersed somewhere.

There's also something called the Silver Collection at Middlesex University, but I don't know whether it goes back far enough.
