Oak Floor Supplier

Hi All , I am Looking for a good supplier of oak flooring if anyone can reccomend, Would prefer different length and width boards if poss.

If price is important then try Jewsons as for some reason they seem to be able to do a good deal. Their American Oak hidden nail T&G 135mm wide (I think) is approx £3 per m which works out at around £27 per sq m inc vat which is, I believe, rather good.

Not a good idea if you want a floor that (a) doesn't squeak (well, not much anyway) and (b) offers some protection against draughts and lost coins!

I embrace draughts Penners, nothing quite like an icy cold blast around the ankles and inner leg coming from below the floor on a sub zero winters evening as you walk around in the old pink panther dressing gown smoking a good pipe and drinking some fine Kentucky bourbon, straight on the rocks.

I would caution against that. Normal rules don't apply to the fashion world. If you are buying oak floorboards then the more you want, the more expensive it will be. However if you are buying certain ladies items then the exact opposite will be true. Also forget the idea that a garment with a nice neatly finished seam and completely undamaged material will cost more than something that has raw edges and a distressed look.
