Yes, nice traditional timber framed buildings built with the same joints and triangulation of yesteryear. A number of specialist make these " original" frames utilising green oak, the only difference being that a lot of the joints are cut with the aid of modern machinery, with specifically insulated infill panels.

All in all I think they are very nice. As close as you can get to the "real" thing, should last a very long time too.
