Was that Skier-Hughes on Nick Knowles Period Features that aired tonight ? Have seen a couple of these programmes, but missed the one I really wanted to see about a 400 yr old cottage due to satellite woes. Amazing house Graham.

Freeview perhaps ? Have tried in vain to find the one I missed on some kind of catch up. Guess I'll have to wait for it to come round again.

The whole series is being repeated next week. We missed the first few episodes but in general I'm rather enjoying it.

Seems to be a little less dramatic than a lot of the shows as the property owners are only working on one room usually.

The show from last night is repeated several times today and then forever
It is on Home channel, only on Sky or Virgin, but will be on the net in a few months time. Anyone particularly wants to see us, I can pop a dvd in the post if you drop a pound or two into Cancer Research or The Alzheimer's Society in exchange.

It was fun watching it back, 6 months of fortnightly filming all squashed down into an hour, or about 50mins!!

I'm surprised they glossed over the firehood as Cassie was over the moon with her find, saying it was one of the most important finds she'd made for the show and she came to the house 4 times, whereas she only normally does one visit.

Sounds like that show is the antidote to "Homes under the Hammer".

I love homes under the hammer, not necessarily for the work they sometimes do to older properties Hate grand designs nowadays and the other one with that NE guy restoration man???? which are always so negative.

Scuse me! I'm i/c Kit-Kats in this neck-of-the-woods. Any "restoration" show that features them has to pay me royalties.

I did mention kit-kats several times, but the advertising meant they ended up on the cutting room floor

I can assure you all, there was plenty more tea drunk during the times of contemplation of work
