House is listed georgian timber framed with lime render on the outside. I'm thinking about ripping the bathroom and starting again. I have multiple leaks in the grout of the shower tiles. The room is on the 1st floor (2nd, not ground floor, for non UK).
The wall on the left hands side is external (obvs becaus of the window). Wall behind shower is chimney stack. Wall on right (where there's a towel) is a bedroom.
What i would like to do is tile up all walls and the floor. Do i have issues with that external wall and breathing if i do that? That red paint is some sort of pvc non-breathable bathroom paint.
If it's ok to tile over then no more questions at this point, however if i need to let it breath, what do i do about that red paint?
