My track, re 70s Manchester

Hi guys. Obviously this isn't a place to advertise music but I have just completed a short track of my own, complete with video that I am hoping captures a certain age. Its about my childhood in a specific part of Manchester. It can be found on my Myspace page (below). Note that you will need to turn off the music in the player - top right, before loading the video. That was excellent, Chris. Brought back some memories for an exiled Mancunian.

I used to work in Clayton in the 80s and walked through that area.

It's very strange returning after 20 years - hardly recognize some parts.

"I remember this when it was all factories, son" etc...

Hmmm a Salford born person here, Lower Kersal. Then moved to Irlams O'th Height. Interesting site, what band did you drum for and how old are you? Trying to work out if I know you.

Enjoyed the music. I don't know Manchester at all well, but I once spent a summer working in Bosnia, so some of the scenes had a ring of familiarity.

I'm 44, I've drummed and played other instruments with a ton of bands, but form that era - The Syko Mafia, After Dark, Wild Youth, KK Dive.
