Hello, you may recall we have a horrible condensation problem in our loft. Yes, I know we should have dealt with this by now but firstly out of sight is out of mind, secondly it dried out in the Summer, and thirdly the cash ran out. But we know we still have to address this so the plan is to get the insulation that has been stuffed down between the tiles and the sloping portions of the bedroom ceilings blocking the eave vents removed...in the Spring when I have saved up a bit more cash as half the roof has to come off to reach these inaccessible parts. In the meantime we are going to put six lap vents in the roof, which can be done from inside the roof so no scaffolding needed. Has anyone had any experience of installing lap vents and do you have any tips to pass on. Not that I'll be doing it myself. The builder is going to tackle that but he's never installed lap vents either.
PS: I think I have discovered smilies at long last.
