Hi
in my 1700s listed building I have a handful of patches of old plaster, presumably lime plaster, come away from the walls. They are actually in places that the previous owner had furniture behind, or were inaccessible, so she wouldn't have been minded to repair them (not deliberately hidden and I knew they were they before I bought). Generally, the plaster is sound (at least, by the standards of very old plasterwork !) except for these few patches. Their size is a few inches at most, actually mainly an inch or so. I plan to repair them myself. Can anyone advise please on the best place / book/ video to go to, as a non-trained craftsman, for instruction on self-repairs of internal lime plaster ? And, any tips ?
Many thanks
