I think I used 2 litres, sorry, 4 litres! so about £100 worth, not a lot really, this is an extreme outlier case, a very rare 1450 floor in a condition almost all other contractors, even the uber expensive ones would throw away and replace with their own reclaimed boards. I have never tried to save such an old and damaged floor, it's really a test of what can be done.Wow, you must be getting through industrial quantities of wood hardener! I'd never imagined it could be used like that (I thought it was just for stiffening wood as a base for filler).
Do you have to treat the whole floor, regardless of condition, in order to achieve a consistent finish? Do you apply conventional finishes on top of the hardener?
