That cottage is three miles away from my previous home town of Ampthill--my son went past the scene the next day and commented that the hedge seems undamaged so the van must have been going at some speed to fly over the top-----!! Anyway I think the owners have been incredibly lucky and I do hope that the cottage is really and truly 'safe' -- I find it odd that structural damage does not appear to be too much in evidence.

It's ok, as a full structural survey will state that all is ok regardless of whether it actually is or not
