Has anyone seen this website?

I stumbled across it the other day, I've never heard of it before.
It's not official so I don't know how accurate the info is.

The parish map view is interesting, I never knew there were so many listed buildings in my town.

Yes, somebody on our local town blog found it, they too were amazed by the number of listed buildings here. From my local knowledge I would say that the list is pretty accurate.

It's no good for Wales. Can't speak for Scotland.
For England, a google for listedbuildingsonline will bring up the EH database, which no longer seems to require registration.

Ah, that makes sense, it looks like the site is just pulling in the data from the EH database, for england at least. I wondered where the information was coming from.

It's a (slightly) more user friendly interface and way of searching than EH, it will be interesting to see if people start using it and adding comments and images.
It would be good if it pulled in the 'Images of England' images or linked up with http://www.geograph.org.uk

I've already left a comment about our house-before-last because the EH description they quoted was inaccurate. I told EH a couple of years ago and they promised to change it in due course, but I'm still waiting.
Nice to have a chance to set the record straight.

Gareth is right about Wales unless it's just not up to date. There are two listed buildings in my village but not our farm which was listed in 2006.

The Welsh data seem* to be taken from Coflein, which is excellent as an overview of lots of historic material, but which is not a transcription to computer of the complete lists, which CADW seem to be a bit more secretive about making fully available.

Corrected (unless you object to the plurality of "lists," which does not, strictly speaking, match the singularity of "a complete transcription"; or indeed to "transcription" rather than "transcript" - I never know with you). Web fora can be such a nuisance.
But I'm definitely with Raymond Chandler (not, apparently, Hemingway) on split infinitives.

I've had a sniff around and can't find anything bad. This doesn't mean there isn't any. Some spyware only shows itself for download once every 100 page impressions or so which makes it very difficult to identify.
