No not the oil, the seeds, like they put on crackers. Just to let you all know, if you keep those crackers for 3 years after their expiry they will taste exactly like linseed oil/ putty smells. This has been a public service announcement, but probably should have gone in “Grump of the day”, luckily
I had only taken a nibble and hadn’t actually consumed.

You know, I've always been a bit dubious about the nibbles available around Bath Spa. Seems my instincts were correct.

That aside, I am rather fond of the linseed odour but I can't say I've ever been tempted to scoff a handful of putty - a mix up at the local trattoria maybe? Or, could it be one of those cravings that should have His Lordship quaking in his boots?

Got a packet or two of crackers that are probably over five years old. Some chocolates getting on for 25 years. Also a selection of grape juices between 12 and 30 years old. Take your pick if you plan on paying me a visit over Christmas

I would like to contribute the fact that heritage oats from the late 20 teens do in fact go rancid and taste really bitter. (but I didn't die....)
