Linoleum floor coverings

Hope that one of the members in here can provide me with information as to where I can purchase some linoleum floor covering. Not for my home but for my 1929 Eccles caravan which has a horrible modern pattern vinyl covering down. Thanks for any help / advise.

Try googling "Linoleum" and you will find several firms that sell the stuff. It seems to be the current 'green' floor covering.
(We've had Marmoleum in our downstairs loo for over a decade and it seems to be indestructible.)

I had already 'Googled' but missed the marmoleum section. It appears to be the nearest I can get to what I have in mind, I will be purchasing some of the tiles in two distinct colours and then will have to cut them up to form the stripe effect that I want. Thanks for info'.

I have recently installed a Marmoleum floor in a bathroom and am very pleased with it. Lino has has a bad press over the years (hence perhaps its rebranding as Marmo, which as far as I can tell is no different from its predecessor). It is made of all natural products - hessian, sawdust, linseed oil etc - making it more environmentally friendly than Vinyl and similar petroleum based plastics.

Thanks for the recommendation Nigel My caravan floor is about 3' wide and 7' long, as I want to create a couple of red/green stripes I shall need to cut the tiles, will I need to tack the lino down onto my wood plank floor or is it best to use some form of adhesive do you think? Thanks.

Found a supplier of the product but am thinking maybe I should get a pro' to fit the stuff, any ball park idea as to how much is a reasonable price to pay per mt sq please.

I have no idea about lino/marmo - but I love your period punctuation. The apostrophe is much abused these days, and really should be listed.

We bought ours from John Lewis, who sent a man to fit it, and he did an excellent job.
The floor in question (suspended over an 18" drop) was/is thick plywood, which provided a lovely flat surface to stick it on.

By the way, if you look at the Marmoleum website* you'll find lots of information about the stuff. Apparently you can get it in sheet or tile form, and they also do some borders that you can incorporate.
