Making the most of the weather for outside work.Wow, housewhinnie, you're on fire!
Looking good!First coat of ingilby pozilme. To test on small area. Damped wall down and so far so good. Diluted 50 50. They claim it is fully breathable and will stick to most masonry surfaces.

Cheers Malcolm, never thought of just using it as a first coat, may save me a few quid on the garage although what I have is going a long long way at the moment..Pozilime sticks to modern masonry paint too (apart from where you don't give it a wash first). It's only the first coat that really needs to be Pozilime - ordinary limewash is fine for further coats. Though I mixed mine too thin and ended up doing 5 coats so there is some sense continuing with a paint that comes with instructions.
Either type of limewash is fab. My house is in a damp area at the bottom of a hill and the houses painted in modern masonry paint go green very quickly and are repainted often where my limewash still looks great.
