Limecrete floors or another option?

I'm just about to go down the limecrete floor option, with sandstone flags.

Issue is that I can't give the floor a month between laying and putting the flags down.

What have others done? Any other options I've missed?

I can't see the issue with putting the sandstone down after 5 days or so?

I can't see an issue either. NHL5 sets quite quickly. Try not to put too much load on it or walk on it in stilletos, but I'm sure if you are sensible it will be fine.

When we laid a limecrete floor we were amazed as to how quick it set. We had no problems with it and I wold say it may well be acceptable to lay sandstone on top. Our query was how to fix the slate on the top as we have under floor heating, some said the slabs would pop off if bedded in limecrete, others suggested commercial product and mat to allow for the effects of UFH.
time will tell if we made the right decision
