Can anyone recommend or put themselves forward for a lime plasterer form a lime plastering job in Guernsey? It's a Granite farm house which is being lime plastered and on some walls the stone pointed throughout. The are few experienced lime plasterers in Guernsey and they tend to be busy. I think it is approximately a three week job and the will be required in 3-4 or 4 weeks. Accommodation would need to be looked in a local hotel or similar. Material can be provided or shipped over. Any recommendations or suggestions appreciated. Thanks. (I apologise if this is a misuse of the forum?)

It's not the whole country that needs covering with lime plaster - just one house on Guernsey.kevmiles1 said:

I presume by the word 'plastering' it's a wholly interior job?
Secondly, do you require a natural finish (plaster only) or a limewash / mineral paint one.
The job is certainly one I'd consider, and I can post a photo here of my most recent project if you like. I'm also shattered after a job, and my wife is preganant and due in October, so I would probably have a word with a friend and maybe share the job to make it quicker if it's financially viable.
Incidentally, I live in Cornwall.

I was thinking of using a rendergun which I've used before on cement rendering but not for lime rendering
Plus my mum was born on Guensey (Hibbs) and I'd like to visit Gurnsey too

I have a feeling that product may not receive universal acclaim on here... I could find no mention on their website about standard lime render/plaster - only their "projected coating" onto "suitably prepared surfaces" which is then "carved" by "skilled craftsmen" to make it "highly resistant to weather conditions". Doesn't sound anything like something I would want to do to my old property.
It would also be interesting to know what your relationship with the company is - you seem to suggest from your "nice people" comment that you are a customer. Is this true?
Otherwise it sounds more like unsolicited advertising which is generally verboten here - and you should know this from the response you got the last two times you posted your stone cladding stuff on this site.
