Following useful advice on this site a while ago, I took the plaster off the interior wall (1.5x x 1.5m) and left it to dry out. It has now been drying out for over 4 years and should be ok by now ;-)
It now needs lime plastering and I am struggling to find anyone in my local area to do this - Cheshire/Staffs. I have googled but in vain.
I seem to be fighting against plasterers who are condescending about my request and insist that I actually need a damp proof course repair (yawn).I am not well versed in the technicalities of why lime plaster is the better argument so I struggle to state my case - but again why should I need to.
I have looked on the site and can find no-one local to me. Any suggestions of where I can look?
Regards
