Sorry, me again! Thanks so much for all your wonderful advice so far.
I wasn't planning to take my kitchen tiles off but as I was removing old wallpaper it was apparent that the adhesive was completely gone and a few made a bid for freedom!
As is the way, I thought "I'll just take them off and retile - they're awful anyway.
The external wall under them is a mess! Patchwork of gypsum, lime and concrete. I've removed the lime to where it seems sound but there are some large areas where the plaster is blown.
I'm planning to have a new kitchen with some structural work including fully replastering with lime in about 3-5 years so this is mainly cosmetic.
What are my options?
