I cannot claim to have sed these but I am slightly concerned that thy are not used inappropriately.

'Lime based' could mean anything. It does not mean that the product is breathable.

Lime plaster - polished - means that the surface is now no fine that it is not breathable in the way an unpolished lime plaster will be.

Silicone paints - are no-where near as breathable as limewash.

These products may have a place in the market for certain buildings and in certain situations. However, for many historic buidings requiring a truly breathable finish limewash or earth/clay paints are far more appropriate.

No, but in the right place it does extend what people can use so they read and make up their own minds.

Worth investigating. May be rather nicer on top of modern finishes than some mass market stuff.

There are people with cement render who maybe don't want to remove it as yet and who don't want to limewash either.

The washable water resistant finish could be useful for bathrooms - tiles aren't too breathable either!
